Yoko TAKAHASHI made her debut with P.S. I miss you from a major label as a solo singer in 1991 and won the Japan Record Awards Rookie Award and an award from the Japan Cable Awards.
Major work are Zankokuna Tenshi no Te-ze (A Cruel Angel's Thesis; 1995), which is a opening theme of NEON GENESIS EVANGELION animation series, the theme song of Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth from last year and Tamashii no Rufuran (Soul's Refrain; 1997). This talented singer boasts a total of 1.75 million copies sold, 2.3 million downloads, and over 120 million streams throughout, for these two songs.
