RUN
Head of Label 619 and author of Mutafukaz returns for the son of revenge at Japan Expo!
Author, scriptwriter and illustrator of the Mutafukaz comic, Run is also the founder of Label 619, which was originally a punk and pulp collection from the Ankama publishing house.
From 2008 to 2019, Run ran the label on his own, until it became an independent studio co-directed by a creative team including comic artists Mathieu Bablet, Guillaume Singelin and Florent Maudoux, “La Mother Base”.
In 2019, he broke away from Ankama and in 2022 joined the publishing house Rue de Sèvres.
In 2011, he launched the Doggy Bags series, hardcover volumes of anthology stories paying hommage to 50s horror comics such as Weird Science, Suspenstories and Tales from the Crypt, whose story “Carrion Death” was reprised for the first volume of Doggy Bags.
Always on the lookout for new talent and showcasing unconventionnal stories, Run is committed to developing the landscape of pulp comics in France .
Run doesn't stop at comics, co-directing the 2017 animated feature adaptation of Mutafukaz.
In duet with Rours, he signs his latest collaboration: JAUNE.
