In 2005, Japan Expo took a break after the CNIT was overflowing for the 6th Impact. The festival has new objectives and settles at Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center on July 7-9, 2006: the attendees remained faithful in this new venue and the gamble paid off! The 7th Impact is also the debut of Aurore as the official artist of the festival posters.

Heading to Paris-Nord Villepinte

After the 2005 break, Japan Expo came back in 2006 in a new exhibition hall, a much bigger one, the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. "When we announced it to our partners, it cast a chill. They were persuaded that no one would go that far. It made us a bit doubtful. They all bought smaller booth, which they regretted when seeing the crowds who turned up" Jean-François Dufour, the festival president, remembers.

Though they had originally planned to set up the festival in hall 6 of Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, the team switched to hall 5A which has an inside garden, which since then has become an absolute must.

We’ll go further to the 8th Impact soon, with the first coming of a star of visual kei who was to become a regular guest and of course attracting crowds of fans every time: follow our news for a new story in a few days!
