Martial arts: choose your way!
The Budô area's martial arts clubs teach you ancient fighting techniques on their tatami and talk to you about the philosophy of their sports. Come train with them in hall 4!

Your visit is sure to be sporty! After ninjutsu, nihon budô, shôrinji kempô, aikidô, and aikibudô, Japan Expo welcomes new disciplines: discover kendô (Japanese fencing), iaidô (an art focused on drawing and cutting smoothly with your sword), jôdô (a fighting style using a staff), chanbara (free fencing with different weapons) or naginata (an art requiring a pole weapon) with CNKDR, and learn the basics of jûdô, jujitsu (samurai fighting techniques), taiso (a form of warm-up for judoka), chanbara, and learn how to handle a kata with judo club Pontault-Combault.
