What you can bring to the festival or not, cosplay accessories, security rules: here’s a reminder of the security rules at Japan Expo this year.

In respect with the current security level in France and for your own security, the festival rules have been strengthened.
Forbidden and authorized items
We’ve made the list of the items which will be allowed in or not as complete as possible. Yet, on site, only the security agents will be allowed to tell which items are allowed in or not.
Changing rooms & checkroom
You’re travelling with luggage? Or with your costume in a big bag? Japan Expo has a plan for you:
- You can put on your costume in hall 8 in the changing rooms, before security control.
- You can leave bags and luggage that are too big to be allowed in at the checkroom in hall 8.
Security check
All the attendees must go through security check:
- When arriving, you go through hall 8.
- When it’s your turn, open up your coats and bags. If you’re wearing a mask, you’ll have to take it off.
- If you've read our rules thoroughly, you’ll go through security check quickly and be led to hall 7.
- If you’re carryung forbidden items, you can go back to the checkroom in hall 8!
