About accessibility for people with disabilities

You have a question about the access and special features for people with disabilities? We have the answer!

Posted on

Q: Is there a dedicated entrance for people with disabilities?

A: Yes, there is a priority line for people with disabilities, pregnant women, families with children under 3 y-o, or anyone for whom it is hard to stand in the lines in hall 7. You may be asked to show a justification or doctor’s certificate. The priority entrance opens at 9.30 am.

Q: Is the entrance free for people with disabilities?

A: People with disabilities have to pay the entrance fees.

The entrance to the festival is free for the companions of people with disabilities (one companion, over 18 y-o, is allowed per person). You’ll have to show a card or supporting documents showing that you need a companion. Free tickets are to be picked up from the Troubleshooting Desk only, in hall 7, before joining the lines. The entrance opens at 9.30 am for free tickets.

Yet, people with disabilities who don’t fall into those categories can also come in through the priority line, from 9.30 am, if they have a ticket.

Q: Are the festival and its programming accessible to people with disabilities?

A: People with disabilities can access all of the festival's venues.

Q: Are all the festival stages accessible to people with disabilities? Are there reserved seats?

A: All the stages are indeed accessible to people with disabilities and have reserved seats or spaces.

To avoid the lines, please ask a member of the staff (in a red jacket) who will make you skip the line.

Q: How to go from the car park to the Exhibition Center? Are the shuttles equipped for people with disabilities?

A: Each car park at Paris-Nord Exhibition Center has specific parking spots for people with disabilities. At the entrance of the car park, you’ll be given a card with the phone number of the shuttle dedicated to people with disabilities.

When you’ve parked, you can call them and they’ll come to pick you up to bring you to the festival, and back at the end of your day.

Q: Are there wheelchairs available on site?

A: We don't have any wheelchairs on site. If you cannot keep standing for a long time and need one, we advise you to bring your own.
