Suminagashi par Mich
Suminagashi is a traditional Japanese art form. “Sumi” refers to ink. “Nagashi” means to float it. It has been practiced by Japanese poets and monks since the 12th century.

In a large water basin, ink is delicately suspended on the surface. Each breath of air disturbs the stillness, giving rise to unique patterns. Suminagashi is the art of a fleeting moment — no two creations can ever be exactly the same.
At this booth, visitors can discover the artist’s works and take part in hands-on sessions for those curious to try the technique themselves.
