KAMIJO
For his solo gig at the venue Divan du Monde on July 4, the ex-vocalist of the bands LAREINE and Versailles come to Japan Expo for a signing session!
Presentation
It was with the band LAREINE that KAMIJO started his career as a singer in 1999, under the label SME Records. But in 2007, after a long period during which LAREINE was inactive, he formed the band Versailles and became a real active presence on stages, not only in Japan but also internationally. The band also wrote the official soundtrack of a movie, before splitting after a gig at the NHK hall in Tôkyô: a big disappointment for their fans.
But on January 26 of 2013, KAMIJO announced he were going to start his solo project, with the single Louis?enketsu no la vie en rose. On March 5 of 2014, he signs with the label Warner Music Japan and releases a mini-album: Symphony of the Vampire.
To date, two new singles are on the way: Moulin Rouge on June 18, and Yamiyo no Lion (A Lion in the Dark Night) on July 16.
For his first solo live concert in Europe, he comes at the Divin du Monde venue: one and only date, for a magical performance for sure. And Japan Expo has the pleasure to welcome him during a signing session on Thursday, July 3rd 2014!
