Everyone's heard of sumo, but few people have ever witnessed a match, and even fewer have tried their hand at this fight deeply imbued with Shintoism. Today, you have the chance to join the Paris Sumo team and get started!

The Paris Sumo club is the only club dedicated to the practice of Sumo wrestling, which is characterized by the size of the wrestlers as well as by the many traditional rites that surround the bouts, and consists of two simple rules: wrestlers must not leave the circle (dohyō), nor touch the ground with any part of the body other than the soles of the feet.
Their heterogeneous team is made up of small (60kg) and large (140kg) athletes. In fact, everyone is welcome to try out this ancient discipline in the company of a participant of similar morphology.
