The Karasu stage is the ideal place to discover new music and it’s all the more true about the 17th Impact which launches the J-music Discovery Springboards. Come enjoy the artists TAKAAKI KONNO and ROA, and fall for their sounds with folk, jazz, and rock!

Japan Expo has always been committed to unveiling to its public the whole of the Japanese music scene: J-pop, J-rock, visual kei, anime-song, idol shows, electro, R&B, and so much more! The ever-growing audience of the Karasu stage can enjoy musical programming worthy of the best music festivals, which makes Japan Expo a major event for J-music fans.
To show you more young artists, Japan Expo is launching J-music Discovery Springboards, open to all music genres. It also offers an opportunity for the ever-growing number of bands and artists who wish to perform at Japan Expo to launch their career abroad on a real concert stage.
Participants
Chosen among 70 entrants this year, 4 artists and bands will be showing the best of their talent on stage during the festival. Among them, TAKAAKI KONNO and ROA will take you away with their atypical universe!
