ECG Season 6: the finals
Like every year, the European Cosplay Gathering is meeting you at Japan Expo for the big finals: the best European cosplayers selected all through the year in 13 countries brought together on stage for an outstanding show!
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment is sponsor of the ECG Season 6 finals.
In July 2011, the European Cosplay Gathering, ECG for short, went through the finals of its first edition at Japan Expo. Since July 2015, this big European cosplay contest is back on track for its Season 6, touring Europe event after event to find the cosplayers who will take part in the finals set at Japan Expo in July 2016. For Season 6, two new countries are joining the event: Finland and Romania.
3 or 4 entrants – 1 in the solo category and 2 or 3 in the group category – are chosen in each of the following 13 countries: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, and UK.
The ECG allows the entrants to perform on the biggest cosplay stage in Europe, the Ichigô stage at Japan Expo, in front of 15,000 people who come to admire, support and cheer them. More than a mere cosplay show, the ECG finals are a masterpiece!
Attention! Videos and streaming are fordibben during the ECG finals. You can still take photos during this event. This restriction only concerns the ECG finals and not the other cosplay events of the festival.
All the videos will be online on ECG's YouTube channel on July 13.
