AKARA is a four-piece rock band consisting of a singer and three musicians, each using a traditional Japanese instrument such as a Koto, a Shinobue (bamboo flute), a Nokan (a No flute), and a Tsuzumi (drum).
Combining the intensity of rock with the gentleness of traditional instruments, the band defines its style as “J-trad Rock”.
