ECG Season 10: the finals

In July 2011, the European Cosplay Gathering, ECG for short, went through the finals of its first edition at Japan Expo. Since July 2019, this major European cosplay contest is back on track for Season 10, touring Europe event after event to find the cosplayers who will compete in the finals set at Japan Expo next July. 

The ECG now includes 15 countries in the run for the finals. 3 or 4 entrants – 1 in the solo category, and 2 or 3 in the group category – are chosen in each of the following 15 countries: Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK. The ECG allows the entrants to perform on the biggest cosplay stage in Europe, the Ichigo stage at Japan Expo, in front of 14,000 people who come to admire, support and cheer them. More than a mere cosplay show, the ECG finals are a masterpiece!
