The author of Shangri-La Frontier, Katarina, is invited to Japan Expo by Glénat!

Katarina made her mark by publishing the novel Shangri-La Frontier on the famous Japanese online self-publishing platform Shôsetsu ni Narô. The platform is renowned for being the birthplace of many successful Light Novels, such as Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, or The Irregular at Magic High School. After reading the latter, Katarina was inspired to start writing her own novel.
Her work was adapted into a manga illustrated by Ryôsuke Fuji and published since 2020 in the Weekly Shônen Magazine. It has been published in France by Glénat since 2021. An anime adaptation and a video game are currently in production.
