Discover with KOOYA the mysterious world of oiran (high-ranked courtesans), who distinguish themselves from geisha with their extravagant outfits and hairstyles. And even if they live in a secretive environment, oiran are accomplished artists who shine thanks to their mastery of arts such as dance and music.

For their first time at Japan Expo, KOOYA will perform a wonderful show, where oiran and samurai use traditional instruments to offer you a unique performance. The scene evolves according to the magnificent costumes of the illustrator Maika KOBAYASHI, whose kimono are made with the most advanced Japanese techniques, which are a sumptuous mix of modernity and Japanese tradition.
