Shoko Nakagawa, nicknamed "Shokotan," is a singer, TV personality, voice actress, actress, and illustrator.
After her musical debut in 2006 with Brilliant Dream, her third single Sorairo Days (theme song for the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) was a huge success and was performed at the 58th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen. In 2024, ACROSS THE WORLD (theme song for Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom) reached No. 3 on the Oricon charts.
She has been very active as a voice actress, participating in the Pokémon movie series for 12 consecutive years.
In 2019, she published the book Shinu nja nezo!! Ijimerarete iru kimi wa zettai warukunai. The text Kokoro no Antenna is included in a junior high school ethics textbook (2025 edition).
