Noob

Noob is a transmedia licence created by Fabien FOURNIER in September of 2008, about online video games (MMORPG). It’s a reboot of a previous webseries on the same theme (called Lost Levels) and created in 2002 by the same author. Fabien FOURNIER is a precursor in the use of MMORPG themes in a live fiction.

With already 5 seasons (87 episodes), 5 years at the head of the French webseries box office and more than 55 million of views on the internet, Noob clearly is a success. It is also broadcast on TV, on the Nolife network since October of 2008 and on the KZTV network since 2010.

Aside from the webseries, 4 novels were edited since November 2009, as well as another novel –Néogicia, a Noob spinoff– and some comics were also released since March of 2010, counting now 9 volumes to day. In 2013, Noob broke the European record of crowdfunding and collected 700,000 euros thanks to more than 13,000 contributors, which not only made the making of a movie possible, but the making of a Trilogy (season 6)! The very first projection of the first movie is scheduled for January 10, 2015, at the cinema Grand Rex in Paris, during a special evening with the actors.

Horizon 1.0 is a popular online video game (MMORPG). Every day, million of players travel the virtual world of Olydri and live epic adventures, without having to move from their couch.

Among them, the warrior Arthéon, leader of the terrible guild named Noob, puts further efforts and imagination into trying to lead his companions in misfortune to the highly-coveted Level 100. Through this ordeal, he is accompanied by the manipulative and venal Summoneress Gaea, the self-centered and macho assassin Omega Zell, and last but not least Sparadrap, a naïve and simple Priest.

In this game, based on the cohabitation between players, they will have to endure each other in order to accomplish numerous quests, to explore dungeons, to go through regions and to face terrible monsters to level up. Not an easy task for them…

Japan Expo will be THE one and only place to be for those who wish to know and see more about the Noob Trilogy: the first trailer of their very first movie will be broadcast for the first time, during the festival! As a result, Japan Expo’s attendees will be the very first to discover the trailer.

Of course, you will have more than numerous opportunities to meet the Noob team, which will be present during a big conference, signing sessions and at their booth. Here is the list of the actors you will be present at the festival:
