HATEandTEARS
While being faithful to their roots, these idols are sprouting beyond borders!
Founded in Nagoya in 2020, HATEandTEARS is a Japanese all-girl dance-electro-pop band that stands out for their hybrid style, fusing elements from drum'n'bass, house, reggae and hip-hop.
Behind the name lies a world of lyrics about the feminin tropes assigned to young girls: kawaii pastiche and the emotions of adolescence mingle with a rebellious spirit.
They are active throughout Japan, especially in the Tokai region.
In 2024, the group released four singles, starting with the catchy hit “Ore wa ore!” (“I am what I am!”). True to their unique style, HATEandTEARS prioritize songwriting while incorporating a wide range of influences, in a ClubTrack-oriented approach.
HATEandTEARS release their debut LP "CHOCOLATE AND CREAM". This album is a testament of the band's desire to take dance-electro music into an innovative territory, without throwing their history away.
With this assemblage of genres, HATEandTEARS seeks to unite and expand its community across the globe.
It's 2025, and now's your chance to see HATE and TEARS, a band in perpetual evolution!
