Kore YAMAZAKI
Japan Expo and the publisher Komikku are glad to announce the coming of Kore YAMAZAKI, the author of the manga The Ancient Magus Bride. The 2nd volume will be available at the festival. Let yourself get bewitched by this fantasy world full of magic powers and extraordinary creatures!
Biography
Kore YAMAZAKI is a mangaka, illustrator and writer. She has already published several manga, among which Futari no Renai Shoka (2012), a romantic slice of life story, Mahou Tsukai no Yome (2013), fantasy between romance and mystery, or Frau Faust (2014), a supernatural josei.
In 2013, she published in Japan in the magazine Comic Blade the manga The Ancient Magus Bride, a real phenomenon since 2 million copies have already been sold. The series is also the most recommended by Japanese bookstores in 2015, not to mention the prizes, such as the 2nd prize of Comic Natalie Taisho Grand Prize in 2014 or the 2nd prize of Manga Ga Sugoi Prize in 2015.
Volume 1 of the series was published in France in May 2015 by Komikku. Volume 2 will be released for Japan Expo, and you can meet the author for signings.
