20 years ago, a revolutionary anime appeared that was about to become a legend: Cowboy Bebop is celebrating its 20th Anniversary at Japan Expo, in partnership with Sunrise and Dybex, and with several guests including Kimitoshi YAMANE, the series mecha-designer!

Kimitoshi YAMANE was born in 1966 in Shimane Prefecture where he currently lives. After graduating from a vocational school in Tokyo, he made his debut as a mechanical designer.

He was involved in the mechanical design of such projects as Casshern (OAV) and Gatchaman 94. After going independent, his most representative works are Cowboy Bebop, the theatrical version of Escaflowne, and Infinite RYVIUS, among many others.
