AKARA, invited by Wabi Sabi, is a rock band using traditional Japanese instruments.

AKARA is a four-person rock band, namely a female singer and three musicians, each using a traditional Japanese instrument such as a Koto, a Shinobue (bamboo flute), a Nokan (a No flute), and a Tsuzumi (drum).
The group was formed in 2014 around the multilingual singer MIKIKO.
AKARA have already come to Japan Expo in 2018 and 2022 and are looking forward to returning this year!
