AKANE
Between tradition and modernity, this electronic trio offers Japanese sounds from another era.
Posted on
The members of the musical group AKANE will perform for the first time this year on the Japan Expo stage.
The group is mainly composed of composer Koichi Shibata, who weaves electronic and synthetic sounds, Takayoshi Oyama, who resonates the Japanese spirit mainly through the shakuhachi, and Ai Kuno, whose crystal-clear voice enriches the group's musical universe.
On stage, electronic sounds and the Japanese resonances of the shakuhachi overlap, to which is added vocal expressiveness, creating a unique sound where tradition and modernity blend together. You will discover a world where music and staging become one, combining Japanese tradition, modernity, and entertainment.
