“Idols representing Japan, go to the world!”

With these feelings started the idol tournament Tokyo Candoll back in 2015. After the success of the first three editions, it is back to be held for the fourth time in 2018. The tournament’s winner is rewarded with the chance to perform on the live stage at Japan Expo. The tournament will be held as a battle where the votes of idol fans who come to the venues will decide who will be the new generation of idols to represent Japan.

There's some new feature for this year's contest as selections are no longer limited to Kanto but will also take place in Kansai and Kyushu.

Japan Expo, partner of the event, will follow the contest, to introduce the groups in the run until the announcement of the winning artist or group on April 22. Follow the news on our website to discover new idols and find out who will win Tokyo Candoll 2018!
