Japanese artisans are inviting visitors in their factories!
Japanese arts and crafts is famous for the quality and beauty of its products. In the Tsubame-Sanjo area, a festival highlights local artisans by opening their factories to visitors.

Running from October 6-9, the Tsubame-Sanjo Factory Festival will see the factories in the Tsubame-Sanjo area - renowned for producing quality products - invite visitors inside to experience the spirit of product making.
Whilst visitors are usually not allowed during operating hours, the festival will offer an opportunity to get a close up view of product making. Across four days, the often-reticent artisans will welcome visitors and passionately introduce their products and practices.
