biography

KASSTRICK BACTERIA is a Japanese industrial shock rock band.

Formed in 2007 at Aichi, this band started by being only the band's leader (KasstrickShown) solo project. Before starting his band, he was an engineer at SHECTER JAPAN (an electric guitars company).

His idea emerged with the aim of forming a band inspired by singers such as Rob Zombie or Marilyn Manson, and to adapt it in order to introduce his own innovative elements.

In 2011, they moved to Tôkyô to become THE Japanese industrial rock group, representative of their country. But they don’t stick to Japan only: KASSTRICK BACTERIA have sought to spread their music to the entire world and to perform abroad, while still maintaining their “Japanese industrial rock band” identity.

They are very adjustable and have established many styles, adapting to the events and performance places they play at: from an electro sound focused only on electric musical instruments, to a more acoustic style. Moreover, their music is kind of hybrid, reuniting not only heavy and aggressive tunes, but also rhythms on which you can dance.

Their universe is also very visual: they reach to their audience five senses and remind us of shock rock artists such as Rob Zombie, or Alice Cooper.

The unreal chaotic world of KASSTRICK BACTERIA is the result of a mixture between highly toxic music and art!
