Japan Expo is glad to announce the Manga Guest of Honor of the 15th anniversary, a guest who’s going to make some of you feel nostalgic: Izumi MATSUMOTO, Kimagure Orange Road mangaka, for a conference and signings!

Izumi MATSUMOTO was born in 1958 in Takaoka, in Toyama prefecture in Japan. He got the Fresh Jump award given byWeekly Shônen Jump magazine. He’s famous for being the author of the manga Kimagure Orange Road (1984), also known for the anime adaptation.
Later he published other works such as Sesame Street (1988) or Shin Kimagure Orange Road (1994). He collaborated with Toshiba EMI on digital comics production.
