Kirie tells Japanese stories and legends through different styles of artistic performances. Around themes like beauty and harmony, between tradition and modernity, the troupe introduces a new Japanese artistic style to the public, mixing calligraphy, music and dance.
This is an artistic encounter between Kirie, traditional Japanese painting, a living calligraphy detached from all conventions, and artwork installations playing with materials and colors. This singular universe, which is a reflection of the Japanese soul, comes to life against a background of beatbox music, creating a mystical atmosphere.
This blend of arts becomes a structured performance, by an artists collective specially gathered for Japan Expo this summer. A brand new and highly colourful show that you need to experience at least once in your life!
