Specialized in the art of calligraphy, Kirie is an unclassifiable artistic troupe: their painting and writing performances blend with music and dance. This summer, they offer you a brand new live show entitled Kachofugetsu!
Presentation
Kirie is a Japanese artistic troupe with complex performances: they use painting, music and dance during their shows. Their aim is to create and elaborate a new Japanese artistic expression form, distinct of all types and genres.
Based on what they call “the beauty of the reviving fusion”, meaning the harmony between the present and the future, the artists and members of this troupe create original paintings from Japanese traditional patterns, to which they bring their own creative writing touch.
Kirie take no consideration on social standards and rules: they create their own performing space with different materials, and gods are painted above their stage. Vocal percussions are the voice and the soul of this beautiful artistic mixture!
Their next and brand new live performance is called Kachofugetsu, and takes place at Japan Expo!
