For the 20th anniversary of Evangelion, Japan Expo is welcoming the chara-designer of the legendary series Neon Genesis Evangelion, and animation director of the movies of this cult saga: Yoshiyuki SADAMOTO is the Anime Guest of Honor of the festival, meet him for signings !
The story of Evangelion dates back to 1995, when the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion was launched. The saga then developed as manga, movies and video games, until it became a phenomenon!
Chara-designer, mangaka and animation director, Yoshiyuki SADAMOTO is famous for working on the Evangelion saga, from the series to the manga and films. He is also one of the founding members of the major animation studio Gainax who produced Neon Genesis Evangelion. In addition to his work on Neon Genesis Evangelion, Yoshiyuki SADAMOTO did chara-design for many more anime series and films, lately on The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, or Wolf Children in 2012.
He is our Anime Guest of Honor to celebrate the 20’s anniversary of the Evangelion saga with you, and he's expecting you on Saturday for a signing session!
- To get an autograph, you must get a signing ticket at the Signing Desk.

The number of signing tickets is limited: get your signing ticket as soon as possible, as signing tickets are distributed from the opening of the show until there are no more. - Signing material: you can bring an official product of your choice. Otherwise free ex-libris are given for free.
