Japan Expo is delighted to welcome the co-creator and director of the successful anime Yuri!!! On ICE: Sayo YAMAMOTO will be attending the festival to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Japanese animation with screenwriter Mitsuro KUBO! And they're holding a masterclass that promises to be fascinating!
If Sayo YAMAMOTO got her first big success as a director with Yuri!!! On ICE, she had showed her talent more than once before on many anime, as a storyboarder or episode director. Let’s mention Samurai Champloo, or Space Dandy, though there are many more.

You have to sign in for a masterclass at the entrance of the masterclass room set just before the entrance of hall 5A. You can sign in from when the festival opens for the day’s masterclasses, in the limit of available seats.
