Tony Valente was born in 1984 in Toulouse, where he grew up, in the city of Mirail.

As a teenager, he was noted for his talent by Didier Tarquin (Lanfeust de Troy), whom he considered one of his mentors in the industry. On the threshold of his second decade, with Raphaël Drommelschlager, he worked on his first comic: Ganahan’s Four Princes. Four volumes and four years later, he launches his first solo series: Hana Attori, the story of the adventures of a young ninja spread over three volumes.

In 2013, Tony Valente wrote and drew Radiant published by Ankama Éditions. Since then, this fan of mangas (Dragon BallOne PieceNarutoBleachRanma ½) and fantasy (The Royal Assassin) has left his native south to live, create and draw from Quebec. An international author, he is also the first French to see his manga adapted into an animated series in Japan, produced by one of the country’s main television channels, NHK.
