Romain Lemaire

Born in Montpellier in 1984, Romain Lemaire has always had a passion for drawing! After passing his baccalaureate in literature, he went on to study English and fine arts at Montpellier's Paul Valéry University. During his studies, he accepted a position as assistant to his cousin, Reno Lemaire, author of the Dreamland series for Pika Édition. After handling some of the designs, backgrounds and frames for this one from volume 4 to volume 13, he finally decided to create his own series started in July 2018: Everdark, which already has six volumes! 

Alongside his manga, Romain Lemaire has worked as a 2D Concept Artist on the statues of Asmodheus, Prévice and soon on Dreamland's Actarus (Taka Corp). He is currently working on a 1/6 scale statuette of his character Neer for Kamiarts.
