Miriam Bonastre Tur

Míriam Bonastre Tur was born in a little town near Barcelona. As a child, she sketched on every smooth surface she could find, even before learning how to walk! She then studied comics at the renowned Escola Joso in Barcelona. Míriam Bonastre Tur, with her imagination and twinkly drawings, has collaborated in numerous fanzines and collaborative comic books in Spanish.

She now works as a character designer for animated shows and films. Still, she has not given up on comics, as proved by her Webtoon Hooky, a series with over 110 million readers, which Dupuis Editions are now printing as paper albums, to rediscover this magical children's series!
