Gothic is back in fashion! Meet CAB , writer of Oneira, created in collaboration with tha artist Fédérica Di Meo.
CAB is a scriptwriter born in Paris in 1992. After studying foreign literature and languages, he began writing based on his favorite books, such as The Annals of the Discworld and The Lord of the Rings. More inclined towards novels, it was Hiromu Arakawa's Fullmetal Alchemist series that drew him into the world of manga and inspired him to write in this medium.
After a stint with the major players in shonen nekketsu (Naruto, DBZ, Bleach, Hunter X Hunter), he discovered more mature works with the mangas of Inio Asano, notably Bonne nuit Punpun. Inspired by dark fantasy universes such as Berserk and Claymore for manga, and Michael Moorcock's novels Le Cycle d'Elric, he is creating his next manga, Oneira, with Federica Di Meo on drawing duties. The series is published by Kana, and the first volume was released in June 2022, with a first arc of 4 volumes.
