Born in 1981, Antoine Maurel began his career in 1999 as a freelance writer and editor, then as a comic book scriptwriter from 2006. He gave up these activities in 2011 to become an editor at Editons du Lombard - four years spent accompanying the creation of others, before returning to his first love in 2015. Since then, he has been working as a freelance scriptwriter - mainly in animation and video games, and a little in comics.
