Disciples
Disciples, the artist behind Solo Leveling, is the webtoon guest of honor at Japan Expo 2025.
Solo Leveling is a series of South Korean web novels written by Chugong and published online on KakaoPage, before being edited by D&C Media under its Papyrus publishing label.
A 179-chapter webtoon version (+ 20 completing the series), drawn by Dubu (Jang-Sung Rak, CEO of Redice Studio), is published on KakaoPage from March 4, 2018 to December 29, 2021 in South Korea.
In 2021, Solo Leveling arrives in France thanks to its adaptation in printed albums by Editions KBOOKS. Now a viral phenomenon, the series has sold 2.5 million copies in France, with 16 volumes to its credit. Volume 17 ushers in a new era in its universe.
After Dubu's passing, a successor is appointed: Disciples, a Redice Studio talent and webtoon guest of honor at Japan Expo 2025, continues the Solo Leveling adventure. Chugong continues to write the script for this level-up fantasy success.
