Multi-awarded Italian cosplayer Mogu is one of Japan Expo's cosplay guests. Come discover her at a panel and meet her at her booth during the whole festival!
Mogu is a true chameleon cosplayer. She first got known in 2006 when she wore a Moogle costume, a cute and endearing creature from Final Fantasy games (which awoke her passion for geek culture). It also inspired her nickname, for "Moogle" is translated by "Moguri" in Italian. Since then, Mogu has been sewing and crafting accessories by herself using not only fabrics but also various materials from the most common to the most complex. She’s won many prizes at Italian costume contests, including best female costume, best actress, best group, best game costume, and best couple performance.
She took part in many conventions around the world as a guest, a panelist, a judge, or a host. She’s also been contacted to attend big festivals such as CosplayBall in Madrid, FiCom in Barcelona, HoldfényCon in Budapest, Dhaka Comicon in Bangladesh, or TNT Mexico in Mexico City. She’s made appearances during great events organized by renowned companies like Universal Pictures or Blizzard.
In 2012, she took part in Japan Expo’s European Cosplay Gathering and took the third place in the solo category. Two years later, she ranked second at World Cosplay Summit in Japan, which was one of her biggest success!
Mogu and her boundless creativity come to Japan Expo this summer. Discover this talented cosplayer at a panel and meet her at signings at her booth throughout the whole festival!
