AIKIDO CLUB DE VILLEJUIF
Join the way of the samurai with Aikido!
Aikido is a martial art known as the "art of peace." It teaches you to neutralize your opponent's aggression through techniques (katas), practiced with bare hands or weapons: boken (wooden sword), jô (staff), and tantô (wooden knife).

Discover Aikido through demonstrations and introductory sessions throughout the festival.
Introductory sessions begin with a warm-up: stretching, movement, and breathing.
You then practice simple techniques with a partner that allow you to neutralize your opponent with a few movements using wrist grabs, frontal attacks, punches, rear grabs, etc.
An introductory session lasts approximately 30 minutes. No registration is required; visit the booth during the introductory sessions, which are specified on site.
Aikido techniques are accessible to all ages and physical conditions.
Aikido is a mixed discipline. The practice is fully accessible to people with disabilities.
The Aikido Club Villejuif (94) has participated in Japan Expo since 2008. Introductory sessions are led by Emiko Hattori, 5th dan, accompanied by her students. Other friendly clubs will be pleased to participate in the activities throughout the festival: Aikido Kodokan Paris XV (75) led by Eléonore Lemaire 5th dan; Aikido Club Perreuxien (94) led by Khalid Tragha 5th dan; Aikido Traditionnel, Culture et Harmonie (78), led by Dominique Dalet 6th dan.
