Soleil Levant Association
This association's aim is the promotion of Japanese culture through various activities (cooking, video games, board games, origami, DDR, Karaoke...). The association focuses on traditional culture as much as on Japanese pop culture and will be pleased to be at Japan Expo!
On booth
After 2 years of waiting, the association Soleil Levant is back at Japan Expo. They offer many traditional Japanese games such as Mahjong, Shogi, Go or Hanafuda.
There will also be many games about Japanese culture such as Yokai no mori, Sensei, Goita Shogi, Hanabi, Katana and others.
All these games do not require a long learning, the goal being to allow access and sharing to as many people as possible!
Depending on the participants, the association will organise a Goita Shogi tournament during the festival. Registration will be free!

The association Soleil Levant has been participating in Japan Expo since 2017. They offer multiple activities and events around Japanese culture.
They develop Japanese culture around the following axes:
- Traditional Japanese or Japanese-inspired games,
- Intra-member exchanges and learning,
- Learning Japanese in a small working group,
- Learning Japanese cuisine,
- Pop culture through Cosplay or rhythm games and karaoke!
