At Japan Expo Paris, many games and activities allow you to win Jens, the festival's currency, which you can exchange for gifts at the Activities Desk. Let us give more details about how it works!

What are Jens?

Jens are a fictional currency used in Japan Expo festivals. They come in 100 Jens, 500 Jens, 1,000 Jens, 2,000 Jens, and 5,000 Jens bills. The Jens tickets can be exchanged at the Activities Desk for gifts!

How can I earn Jens?

There are several ways to win Jens at Japan Expo:

  • By participating in the activities organized by the Activities Desk in Hall 6.
  • By playing games at various booths of the festival.

What are the games organized by the Activities Desk at Japan Expo?

This year, the Activities Desk's games have been designed around the theme of this 22nd edition: Investigations and Mysteries.
Come to the Activities Desk to become either a real investigator or a clever thief by participating in our activities:

  • The Chibi Dino Hunt: pictures of Chibi Dino, the mascot of Japan Expo, are hidden in one of the festival halls. Each day you must find six different Chibi Dinos (the list of Chibi Dinos to find is available at the Activities Desk). Take a picture of them and go to the Activities Desk. The first 20 participants win 500 Jens. All players can participate in the draw, which takes place at the Activities Desk at 4:30 pm.
  • Where's the Takara: Come get your game card at the Activities Desk to participate in the biggest heist in history! Solve the many riddles and traps scattered throughout the festival and find the secret code to open Chibi Dino's safe. If you are among the first 20 burglars to find the secret code, you can win 500 Jens immediately. All players can participate in the draw at 4:30 pm at the Activities Desk to win even more Jens! (This game will only be playable in French)
  • The Mysterious Thief of Chibi Tamago: Game specifically for children 8 and under. Chibi Tamago has been kidnapped! Chibi Dino refuses to participate in the festival until you find his favorite egg. Go to the different booths indicated on your game sheet. Each booth has a clue to eliminate the suspects one by one. When only the culprit is left, go back to the Activities Desk. All the participants win a special prize, and a draw is organized at 2:30 pm at the Activities Desk to win Jens!  (This game will only be playable in French)

How can I exchange my Jens for gifts?

Jens tickets can be exchanged at the Activities Desk in Hall 6 for gifts worth between 200 Jens and 7,000 Jens.

There are also many "Out of category" gifts with a value of over 7,000 Jens. To win the biggest prizes, you can save Jens over several years and several editions (Orleans, Marseille, and Paris).

Attention:

  • No change is given on Jens tickets
  • We no longer accept old Jens banknotes, i.e., those that were in circulation before 2018
  • Torn or damaged Jens tickets are not accepted
  • The Jens tickets won can be saved over several years. They are valid in all the festivals bearing the Japan Expo brand
