Some useful advice #1
28 days before the festival, it’s time to get ready. Today, let’s focus on the first steps!
Posted on
1. First of all: your entrance ticket.
- Buy it presale: thus you can get in an hour earlier, from 1.00 pm on Wednesday and from 9.00 am on the other days.
- You don’t have your ticket so far? You can get them in Fnac and Ticketnet networks, and on: www.fnac.com or www.ticketnet.fr.
- If you don’t have tickets when you arrive at the festival, don’t fret: tickets are sold at the entrance of the festival, but only from 2.00 pm on Wednesday and from 10.00 am on the other days.
- You can pay with cash or a credit card at the festival registers but checks are no longer accepted.
2. How to go to Japan Expo?
- If you’re flying to Japan Expo, coming by train, or from Paris, you can come with the RER train to the Parc des Expositions station.
- If you’re coming by car, take the highway: A1 or A3, then A104. Car parks close to Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center are available.
3. Where to stay?
- Japan Expo has partnerships with several hotels offering discounts: right here!
4. Don’t forget!
- Take cash: there are ATMS, but they are often crowded and many exhibitors don’t accept credit cards.
- Take water: in July, it’s most likely to be warm, or even hot. Don’t forget to hydrate, in the lines as well as inside the festival where it’s hot whatever the weather outside.
5. Start a list of what you want to see?
Before you get the map and schedule, you can start making a list of the guests and events you don’t want to miss:
- on your account on Japan Expo’s website with Daisuki
- and of course on Japan Expo’s app!
