Aikido is a martial art that consists of neutralizing the blows of one's opponent. As such, it has earned the "art of peace" title. Learn self-defense techniques at the Aïkido Club Villejuif's booth through their introductory courses. These techniques are practiced with bare hands or with wooden weapons such as the boken (wooden sword), the jô (stick), or the tantô (wooden knife).
