It’s been expected for a while and here comes the live-action adaptation of the cult anime Cowboy Bebop, today on Netflix!

Posted on

A turning point in the history of Japanese animation, Cowboy Bebop, released in 1998, has not aged one bit. As a matter of fact, Japan Expo had celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018, welcoming part of the team of the show, including its director Shinichiro Watanabe.

Today, it’s a live-action version of Cowboy Bebop that’s coming out on Netflix, with actor John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Danielle Pineda as Faye Valentine, and Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black. And the most adorable corgi of all features in the show too: Ein! With Yôko Kanno’s soundtrack who is back on this occasion.

That’s also a good opportunity to watch or rewatch (or re-re-re-rewatch for some of us) this cult anime as it has also been back on Netflix for a few weeks.

See you space cowboy!
