The story of Evangelion dates back to 1995, when the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion was launched. The saga then developed as manga, movies and video games, until it became a phenomenon!
Chara-designer, mangaka and animation director, Yoshiyuki SADAMOTO is famous for working on the Evangelion saga, from the series to the manga and films. He is also one of the founding members of the major animation studio Gainax who produced Neon Genesis Evangelion. In addition to his work on Neon Genesis Evangelion, Yoshiyuki SADAMOTO did chara-design for many more anime series and films, lately on The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, or Wolf Children in 2012.
