12th Japanese International Manga Award
Every year, the International Manga Award rewards the authors of manga created outside Japan and registrations for the 12th edition are open!
The Japanese International Manga Award is organized by the Ministry of Japanese Foreign Affairs and the Japan Foundation to promote Japanese pop culture. It rewards international artists who contribute to spreading manga worldwide.
Registrations for the 11th Japanese International Manga Award are open until Friday, June 15, 2018. All the information is available on www.manga-award.mofa.go.jp.
The laureates will be offered a trip to Japan to go to the award ceremony, meet manga artists, and visit publishing houses.

For the 11th Japanese International Manga Award, Dos Aldos by the Colombian Henry DÍAZ et Pablo GUERRA won the First Prize. It was the first time Colombian artists were rewarded with this prestigious award.
