Access to the festival
The B line of the RER train (towards Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 – TGV, from Paris) takes you to the hall in which Japan Expo takes place. Get off the train at the “Parc des Expositions” station. It won’t be much longer than 30 minutes from the centre of Paris.
To save time, buy your ticket in the days before the festival, to avoid long lines!
In the Paris area, buses drive you to Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center:
- the 350 line (RATP) from Gare de l'Est in Paris or from Charle de Gaulle airport, stop at Parc des Expositions RER
- the 349 line (RATP) from Charle de Gaulle airport to Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, stop at Parc des Expositions RER (end of the line)
- the 607, 619, 640, 641, 642 lines: click on each line number to read the map and the stops
driving to Japan expo
Through the A1 or A3 motorways, and then the A104 motorway, driving to Japan Expo is easy as ABC. On the motorway, get out through the exit 2 "Parc des Expositions - Accès Visiteurs".
Then, many car parks allow you to park your car near the festival.
Car parks & shuttles
Shuttles are made available to the attendees of Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center to go the exhibition halls from the car parks. Shuttles drop off and pick up the attendees near the entrance of hall 8.
Parking fees for cars:
- from 0 to 3 hours: €0.80 / 15 min
- from 3 to 6 hours: €0.60 / 15 min
- from 6 to 9 hours: €0.30 / 15 min
- from the 9th to 24th hour: €20
- every additional 24 hour interval: €20
Parking fees for buses:
- €40 (daily rate)
Car parks are the propriety of Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center and are entirely managed by it.

The Charles de Gaulle airport train station is 5 minutes away from the Exhibition centre Paris-Nord by car or RER and it serves dozens of cities in France and Europe such as: Lille, Marseille, Bordeaux, Nantes, Lyon, Arras, Montpellier, Toulouse, and also London, Brussels, Amsterdam or Köln. All these cities are connected to Villepinte thanks to the TGV.
