As a kimono designer and stylist, Nobuaki TOMITA is well known for his talent and expertise in Japan and abroad. Also a producer and consultant, he has advised the NHK on some of their TV shows and series, filmmakers and museums around the world.
Very important to him, when he works on a film, he dresses the actors himself according to the strict rules of kitsuke (art of putting on and wearing the kimono). He travels all over the world to exhibit his creations and share his passion for kimono at conferences in many universities.
