For its 20th Anniversary, Japan Expo is highlighting cosplay with an exceptional event: The Greatest Cosplay Show - 20th Anniversary Celebration, which will bring together dozens of cosplayers who have performed at the festival in the last 20 years. Among them, let's discover Nikita, the cosplay expert!
Présentation
Nikita is an experienced cosplayer who discovered cosplay in high school, as she was studying art to become a designer. Having always been passionate about anime, comics, manga and fantasy movies, cosplay was for her the ideal equation between the culture she loved, designing costumes and performing on stage.
In 2006, she started this particular hobby seriously and thanks to her progress, she has won many international competitions while representing France, in 2008 and 2010 when she represented France at the World Cosplay Summit and in 2015 when she won the European Cosplay Gathering.
Now a professional, she travels all around the world regularly as a cosplay guest, whether for stage performances, or for her expertise as a judge in cosplay competitions. Moreover, she is now recognized as a reference, not only in sewing but also about her cosplay performances.
