For its 20th Anniversary, Japan Expo is highlighting cosplay with an exceptional event: The Greatest Cosplay Show - 20th Anniversary Celebration, which will bring together dozens of cosplayers who have performed at the festival in the last 20 years. Presentation
In 2006, the creative MysteriousMaemi discovered cosplay and was immediately fascinated by it. At the same time, besides her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, she took night classes in fashion to get two sewing certificates.
Then she discovered new conventions all over the world and participated in competitions at Japan Expo or Chibi Japan Expo in France.
All this experience has allowed her to be invited as a cosplayer guest to conventions and even to be a judge in cosplay competitions. Not to mention her personal investment, because thanks to cosplay, in 2013 she became the vice-president of the association cosplay4charity, because to her, the smile of a child is the most magical thing that exists.
