Presentation
KIRIE ("drawing of mist") is a troupe with many facets, in which different artists mastered arts such as calligraphy, airbrushing, dance, singing and "Mizuhiki" (art of volume creation by using paper strings).
By being accompanied by musicians, graphic arts and poetic songs, KIRIE reinvents Japanese traditional stage arts. And by mixing those different technics, this troupe creates original, harmonious and charming representations, sublimating at the same time traditional Japanese culture and transforming it into a unique contemporary art.
Whether or not you have been introduced to their unparalleled performance, come and enjoy KIRIE's show during the 20th anniversary of Japan Expo.
